Three people have been injured after a stabbing at a D.C. jail, fire officials say.
The stabbing happened Thursday evening at the DC Central Detention Facility at 1901 D Street SE. The jail was on lockdown.
Two of the stabbing victims were seriously injured, fire officials said.
It is not known if those stabbed are employees or inmates.
D.C. Fire officials said there may be two other patients that will need to be taken to the hospital.
