3 Shot While Walking in Manassas: Police

A woman, a man and a juvenile male were shot and injured Wednesday night in Manassas, Virginia, police say.

Manassas City Police said the three people were walking in the area of 9800 Maury Lane when someone shot them from a vehicle. The vehicle quickly left the scene, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the shooting about 7:30 p.m.

All three victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the suspects were in two vehicles, a dark gray Mercedes sedan and a dark Honda sedan with loud exhaust. The suspects are described as "several Hispanic males."

Police said the shooting does not appear to be random and the department is working with the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force and the Prince William County-Manassas-Manassas Park Vice Narcotics Task Force.
