A Silver Spring woman vowed to get justice after her 20-year-old son was killed in their home last week. Now, police say they have made three arrests.
Two men from Arlington, Virginia, and a third man from Suitland, Maryland, have been charged in the July 19 killing of Jon-Christian Kemachet-Webster, Montgomery County police said Wednesday afternoon.
Oliver Waltz Farley, 19, of the 1500 block of S. Randolph Street in Arlington; Re'Quan Kasim Hopson, 21, of the 1900 block of S. Kenmore Street in Arlington and Brian Anthony Mackall, 20, of the 4100 block of Suitland Road are each charged with first-degree murder.
The three men went to Kemachet-Webster's family's house to buy "a large quantity of marijuana," police said. Farley and Mackall went into the house to make the deal, and Hopson drove the getaway car, according to investigators. Kemachet-Webster was shot on the second floor of the house.
Police did not immediately say who is believed to have been the shooter.
The three men went to the house on the 1600 block of Belvedere Boulevard, in the Forest Glen area.
Kemachet-Webster invited Farley and Mackall into his home while Hopson waited in a car outside. Once the three men were upstairs, Kemachet-Webster was shot.
Farley and Mackall went outside, and Mackall hopped into the getaway car. He and the driver left. Farley left the area of Kemachet-Webster's home and later was picked up from the area by an Uber driver, police said.
Kemachet-Webster's mother, Gisell Morch, saw the young men.

"I saw you. I saw what you did. I chased you to your car. So you know that I recognize you and the car. So, now you're going to have to come after me," she previously told News4, staring right into the camera.
"You did something to my son, who was innocent, so now you're going to have to come after me. And may God get you," she said.
A resident of Kemachet-Webster's home called 911 about 9:50 p.m. Officers responded and found the young man with a gunshot wound.
Medics took Kemachet-Webster to a hospital, where he died.
Hopson was arrested the next day in Arlington, for offenses in Arlington that were unrelated to the homicide. Police did not immediately release additional details.
In an interview with Montgomery County police, Hopson admitted to driving Farley and Mackall to Kemachet-Webster's home to buy marijuana, and driving Mackall away.
Hopson was charged with murder and is being held in the Arlington County jail.
Farley then was arrested the same day at his job in Northwest D.C. He's being held in D.C.
Five days later, on Tuesday, Mackall was arrested in D.C. He's being held in D.C.
All three men are expected to get extradited to Montgomery County.
"A parent is not supposed to bury their child. A child is supposed to bury their parent," Morch said the day after her son was killed.
