3 Teens Arrested in Connection to Drug-Related Robbery

Suspects held without bond

Three northern Virginia teenagers are being held without bond in Loudoun County in connection to a robbery during an alleged drug transaction.

Sheriff's deputies arrested 18-year-olds Antoine Byrd, Oliver Thomas and Joseph Ludi in Sterling last week. Investigators said they found a handgun used in a robbery along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities believe the three robbed a man at gunpoint Nov. 20 in Sterling. The victim told investigators he'd set up to meet with one of the suspects for a drug-related transaction. When he got there, the other two suspects approached and robbed him.

All three suspects are charged with multiple counts of robbery. Byrd is also facing possession and firearm charges.
