2 Women Injured in Northwest Shooting

3 men arrested early Saturday morning

D.C. Police are investigating a shooting that injured two woman in Northwest early Saturday morning.

Investigators say that the shooting took place near the intersection of 11th and U Streets at around 2:45 a.m. Saturday.  Authorities say that shots rang out shortly after an argument between two groups of men.

Police were able to recover a handgun from the scene and three men were placed under arrest. Police have not yet released the name of the victims or the arrested men. Both women were shot in the leg and their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
