Two teenagers are in the hospital after an incident in Hillcrest Heights. It happened Saturday night on the 2600 block of Fairlawn Street.
Police say two teens suffered facial injuries and were taken to the hospital where they are expected to be okay. It’s unclear what caused the injuries though a woman who claims she knew the victims told NBCWashington there had been some sort of fight.
A carnival also took place at the nearby Iverson Mall at the time of the incident. Police are currently investigating whether the carnival is connected to the incident.
