Juvenile Shot, Killed in Southeast: Police

A man was also found shot nearby and is seriously injured, police say

Police have identified the 17-year-old boy killed in a shooting in southeast Washington Thursday afternoon.

D.C. police said Kevin Anthony Jackson II was found critically injured in the 1900 block of 16th Street SE at 2:19 p.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.

A man who was apparently delivering pizza was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the same block, police said. He is in critical but stable condition. 

Police believe the two were shot during one incident.

No arrests have been made. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
