D.C. Police are investigating a double shooting that left two people hospitalized in Northeast early Sunday morning.
The shooting took place at around 4 a.m. in the 1900 block of M Street, Northeast. Investigators say that one of the victims was shot in the abdomen and possibly the mouth, while the other victim was shot in the leg.
Both victims were taken to local hospitals, where they were described as conscious and breathing. No arrest has yet been made in the case, and no identifying information about the victims has been released.
