A man died after he and a woman were shot inside a car on the Suitland Parkway, police said.
The victims were shot just after 2 p.m. Friday near Silver Hill Road.
Police do not know if the shots were fired from another car.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The woman is in stable condition.
Eastbound Suitland Parkway was closed from Naylor Road to Silver Hill Road, but all lanes are now open, police say.
