Police say a 19-year-old woman was critically injured when she allegedly fell down a flight of stairs.
Crews responded to the 400 block of Granville Drive in Riva, Md. for a victim suffering from head injuries at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday morning. When police arrived, they were told the 19-year-old woman was transported to a hospital by her friends after suffering fall down a flight of stairs. At the home, police observed several underage individuals who had been drinking alcohol that evening.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the woman's fall. Meanwhile, she is receiving treatment at Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
