Alexandria Man Charged With Attempted Sexual Assault

An Alexandria man is facing several charges in connection with an attempted sexual assault last year.

Roger Lewis, 25, was indicted by a grand jury Jan. 15 on one count of attempted rape, two counts of attempted sodomy and one count of sexual battery.

The alleged assault happened Oct. 2 near Holmes Run Parkway, police said.

Lewis is being held without bond.
