A teenager speeding in a stolen van on I-95 in Virginia tried to ram two state troopers' cars Sunday morning before losing control and flipping the van over, state police said.
Just before 9:30 a.m., state police tried to stop a white Dodge multi-passenger van traveling north on I-95 at the Caroline County / Spotsylvania line. The van had reportedly been involved in a hit-and-run accident, and it was speeding.
The driver would not stop for the trooper, who pursued the van. Then the van's driver tried to ram a trooper's car; the trooper hit the guardrail.
Later, the driver rammed a second trooper's car and lost control, flipping the van on the highway.
The van's driver suffered minor injuries. Charges are pending.
No troopers were hurt.
