A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in southeast D.C. over the weekend, police said.
The victim told police she was walking in the 3200 block of Wheeler Road SE of Congress Heights when a man forced her into an alley at gunpoint and sexually assaulted her around 6:15 a.m. Saturday.
"It's totally ridiculous," a resident told News4's Shomari Stone about the crime in the neighborhood. "I am so hurt behind the fact that every time you look up, there's always something going on."
The assailant left the scene driving a dark blue four-door car.
