14-Year-Old Indicted in Teacher's Death

A 14-year-old, who will be the youngest person to be tried as an adult in Prince George's County, Md., was indicted on Tuesday for the alleged attempted rape and murder of a teacher.

Brian Lee Wonsom was 13 last year when he was accused of assaulting and killing Hannah Wheeling at the county's Cheltenham Youth Facility. Wheeling, 65, taught there. She was found strangled to death in the snow on the facility's campus on Feb. 18, 2010.

Sources told NBC Washington that DNA evidence linked Wonsom to the crime.

Wheeling's death led to a security review at Cheltenham, as well as the firings of some staffers.
