A 14-year-old boy is recovering after police say he was attacked with a knife by another juvenile at the Metro Center Station.

The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday on the Metro Center platform, where police say the two juveniles got into an altercation.

The 14-year-old suffered a laceration but no internal injuries, according to investigators. He was taken to the hospital and was released on Sunday evening.

A juvenile suspect was arrested. No word yet on the specific charges against him.

On Friday, a juvenile female was stabbed just outside the L'Enfant Metro station.  Police said the stabbing happened after the victim got into a fight with a group of girls.  She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
