$100K Bond Set for Assistant Principal in Child Porn Case

A judge is allowing an assistant elementary school principal facing child pornography charges to be released to the custody of his parents on $100,000 bond.

Joshua Myers’s parents could lose their home in western Pennsylvania if the 29-year-old fails to appear at his next hearing. Myers is not allowed to have contact with minors unless supervised by a person approved by pre-trial services.

Myers was arrested last week at his Warrenton home. He is accused of possessing and distributing child pornography.

Myers has been suspended without pay from his job as assistant principal at Greenville Elementary School in Nokesville. He was to be promoted to principal of Brumfield Elementary School in Warrenton in July.
