1 in Critical Condition After Fire in Hyattsville

One person is in critical condition after they were rescued from an apartment fire in Hyattsville, Maryland.

The fire happened Saturday night in the 3400 block of Dean Drive, according to Prince George's County Fire Department spokesperson Mark Brady.

Firefighters rescued two people from the apartment building, including one person who has been taken to a burn unit, Brady said. The second person rescued appears to be fine.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
