Police say teens used sod to spell out "KKK"

Police are investigating vandalism at an elementary school in Manassas, where they say a group of teens used sod to spell out "KKK" and make a swastika and other hateful words in the parking lot.
The graffiti was discovered at Sinclair Elementary School early Tuesday morning, according to authorities. It has since been cleared.
Prince William County Police said a group of teens were taken in for questioning and charged with vandalism. The teens range in age from 14 to 17. Police said one of the teens was African American while the other three were white, according to police. Officials originally said all were African American. They all attend Stonewall Jackson High School, police said.
The teens were released into the custody of their parents.
Police said there was no damage to the school.
Classes have not started yet at the school. They will begin after Labor Day.
