WASHINGTON -- The man who pleaded guilty to the 1996 killing of Shaquita Bell will spend an additional 15 years in jail.
Michael Dickerson, 38, admitted to killing his ex-girlfriend. Though Dickerson told police where to look for her, Bell's remains haven't been found.
Bell disappeared shortly before she was supposed to testify against Dickerson in a murder trial. She was last seen in his company.
Dickerson's sentence was part of a plea agreement. He has already spent 12 years in jail for assaulting Bell.
Dickerson also is charged with murder in the death of Sean Anthony Thomas. He tearfully apologized to both victims' families as well as his own.
