Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Police

A pedestrian died after being struck by a Montgomery County police officer Wednesday evening.

The officer was driving a police cruiser when the pedestrian was struck at about 8 p.m. on Interstate 295 just north of D.C.

No further details are available at this time.
