Officers Save Man's Life

Three officers are credited with saving a man's life during Tuesday night's snowstorm along Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Md.

Someone spotted a man slumped over on a bench and called 911. When Officer Greg Woodman and two other officers arrived, the 62-year-old victim wasn't breathing.

The officers performed CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived.

"Usually this is a busy stretch, but when this happened it was during the snowstorm and there was not a lot of people down here. Fortunately, if this citizen didn't see him fall it may have been some time before somebody noticed him," Woodman said.

At last check, the victim was recovering at a local hospital.
