Obamas Plan Weekend Move to Washington

Future first family set to arrive in nation's capital this weekend

President-elect Barack Obama, First Lady to be, Michelle, and their daughters Malia (red dress) and Sasha (black dress) will move to Washington this weekend.

President-elect Barack Obama and his family will move to Washington this weekend, NBC News has confirmed.

 
The Obamas have spent the past several days vacationing in Hawaii.
 
NBC News has learned the Obamas will stay at the Hay Adams hotel in Washington until Jan. 15.  At that point, they will move into Blair House, the official guest house to the White House.
 
The general manager of the Hay Adams would not comment on whether or not the Obamas will stay at the hotel. The president-elect's transition team has not said at which hotel the family will stay.
