President George W. Bush and first lady Laura Bush will have a home in Dallas after leaving the White House, the first lady said Wednesday.

Asked about buying Christmas gifts, Mrs. Bush said the couple were going to spend their Christmas money on Texas real estate.

Mrs. Bush talked about their upcoming home as she was giving members of the media a sneak peak of holiday decorations at the White House.

The couple are buying a home but don't have occupancy of the property yet, according to Mrs. Bush's press secretary, Sally McDonough.
