Hip-hop icon Jay-Z has announced a special one-night performance in D.C. for the night of Jan. 19 to celebrate the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.

The rap artist will take the stage at the Warner Theater downtown, which seats just over 1,800 people.

Jay-Z was one of Obama's most vocal supporters during the presidential campaign.
