WASHINGTON -- A D.C. couple has more to celebrate this holiday season after winning $1 million in the lottery over the weekend.

Jermaine Jones' ticket matched all five white balls Saturday to win a $200,000 prize, but since he selected the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the ticket earned him $1 million

Jones purchased the winning ticket at DC Super Market in the 500 block of Eighth Street in Northeast.
