Bethesda Internist Convicted on Drug Charges
Police: Cocaine, Ritalin and meth pipe found in raid

BETHESDA, Md. -- A Bethesda physician has been found guilty of cocaine possession.
A Montgomery County District judge found internist Eric Greenberg guilty Tuesday and sentenced him to 18 months probation.
Greenburg's office and home on Old Georgetown Road was raided April 1 by federal and county agents. Police said they found the doctor in a dazed state with fresh needle marks on his arms.
Police said they found cocaine, powdered Ritalin and a meth pipe in the raid.
The Maryland Board of Physicians has suspended Greenberg's medical license.
Greenberg plans to appeal the conviction. He told News4's Pat Collins that he misses and loves his patients and hopes they are in good hands.
