The cough and cold season leaves many parents in a quandary.  How do they treat their young children?

Drug companies are now saying over-the-counter medicines shouldn't be given to children under age 4.  Federal health officials have already banned these medicines for children under age 2, and are studying whether they're safe for children under age 6.
