Steel This for Your Kids

Baby bottles go stainless to protect from BPA toxins

Environmentalists have been sounding the alarm for years: BPA in plastics can leech into our food and beverages when heated.

Now the Food and Drug Administration agrees and is warning about the dangers of plastics containing BPA , a chemical that can cause cancer in adults and developmental problems in infants and children. It’s been found in the urine of 98 percent of Americans.

Well, we don’t need no stinkin' plastics!

Stainless steel water bottles have become the trend in gyms. Now a company called Pura Stainless has created a stainless steel baby bottle that can grow with your infant.

Pura’s KIKI line starts as a bottle and then morphs into a sippy cup as your child matures. KIKI is compatible with a variety of silicone nipples and sip spouts so you don’t have to buy new ones. (reduce, reuse, recycle!)

And, honey, we love the popsicle colors. One for every one of your child’s cute, little outfits.
