Despite the stilts, Kesnick danced gracefully to the music, while onlookers crowded around the pair for pictures. "The Na'vi are all about connectedness," she says. "To nature, to the earth and each other."

The group will start the walk Monday morning near the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool at 10 a.m. Registration is $25.
They are urging local and global leaders to take action to protect waterways, assure access to clean drinking water and promote organic farming.
Proceeds from the walk will benefit the Potomac Conservancy, which works to protect the Potomac River and its tributaries.
