DC's First Green Hotel on the Way

The Nigerian embassy at 22nd and M Streets in Northwest, will soon be replaced by D.C.'s first green Hotel.

The Nigerian embassy at 22nd and M Streets in Northwest, will soon be replaced by D.C.'s first green Hotel.

The embassy will be demolished to make way for what will likely be the first 'true' green hotel to the area. The 182 room project that's being dubbed "Washington's first green luxury hotel" should be complete sometime in 2010.
