Recession Costs Nats Fans Some Really Popular BBQ

WASHINGTON -- Two local restaurants are pulling out of Nationals Park, according to Nats320.

Apparently, the recession is taking its toll on the Memphis-style barbecue chain Red, Hot & Blue, which was popular at the park and more than welcome to return.

Cantina Marina, on the other hand, likely is leaving because its Cajun seafood wasn't selling, Nats320 reported. Maybe Cajun seafood isn't proper baseball fare, or maybe Cantina's spot neighboring Five Guys was just too unfair.

We don't envy the next vendor that gets to be the tails side of that coin. Maybe that's where the team should sell those Adam Dunn jerseys that are sure to be hot sellers this season.
