Ten of the nation’s 500 largest or fast-growing businesses owned by Hispanics are in the county, according to Hispanic Business magazine.
MicroTech, LLC in Tysons Corner ranks highest among county businesses on the Hispanic Business 500. It’s No. 18 on the list. The tech company has grown in revenue by more than 4,000 percent since it started in 2004, according to its website.
Business is apparently booming for other minority-owned companies in Fairfax County. Four of them are on Black Enterprise magazine’s 2011 list of the 100 largest African American-owned companies in the country.
Two women-led businesses in Fairfax County are on the Women Presidents’ Organization’s list of 50 fastest-growing woman-led companies for this year, as well.
