WASHINGTON -- Target plans to sell grocery and fresh food items in 100 stores nationwide, including three in the D.C. area, the Washington Business Journal reported.
Many Targets offer food but not fresh meat and produce. Soon, stores in Gaithersburg and Silver Spring in Maryland and Alexandria in Virginia will, according to a company spokeswoman.
The Alexandria store should be remodeled by July or August, the Biz Journal reported. The others are looking at October.
