Kenny Loggins Plays Private Show in Fan's Living Room

Kenny Loggins played a private show on Sunday in a Northern Virginia fan’s living room after the fan successfully raised $30,000 through a Kickstarter campaign.

“This is the first time we’ve done anything like this. It felt really great,” Loggins said.

Erick M. Sanchez started the project in July 2014, aptly named “I want Kenny Loggins to play in my living room.” Sanchez reached his fundraising goal in 25 days with more than 200 people backing his campaign.

According to his Kickstarter page, Sanchez invited 50 supporters to the private show. Sanchez offered perks in exchange for large donations, including an invitation to a private meet and greet with Loggins, a batch of homemade guacamole, and an ice cream social featuring Goodies Frozen Custard.

“Everyone had a really great time, I mean, the energy in my living room was fantastic,” Sanchez said after the show.
