Money, Men and Young Honeys Science says stereotypes are right

After reviewing 400 lonely hearts ads in newspapers and websites, Swedish researchers concluded that most stereotypes are right.

In the ads, men routinely described wanting younger partners and often touted financial success and their large homes in searching for a match.

Younger women most often wanted older men.

However, the study found that both men and women seemed to place equal importance on physical attractiveness. And these two tidbits may surprise you:

Men often said they wanted the younger women for their intelligence and high income, along with beauty.

And the majority of women over 60 were looking for a younger man.

The day of the cougar has dawned.

bmsvds Monday, Dec 8 at 9:52 AM FLAG COMMENT Money is often thrown at obvious topics because these researchers have nothing else to do and backing the obvious up with "pertinent data" makes them feel useful. Older women go for younger men because older men tend to be stagnant with a boring lifestyle. Typically TV sports, golf, poker, vodka/tonic......... day after day.

The only reason a woman over 60 is looking for a younger man is there aren't very many older men alive. Go check a nursing home. 75% are old women. And if I am correct, women still outlive men. So the young ones are sharp to catch the wealthy old men before they die and while they can still get it up.
dissagree Thursday, Dec 4 at 4:17 PM FLAG COMMENT I just started dating a man. Didn't know his age till like the 3rd date. He is older by 15 years. It didn't make a difference. He has a great body. His income. He is not wealthy, but is emloyed. 2 years ago I was dating a man 10 years younger, what an idiot! Most men that are younger than women are only good for one thing.
