Recipe: Silver Diner Gluten-Free 15-Minute Quinoa Pasta

    The Silver Diner's executive chef Ype Von Hengst and assistant chef Vincent give healthy, kid-friendly recipes to make cooking for the whole family an ease.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb. quinoa
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 3 quarts of water
    • 2 tsp. olive oil

    Recipe:

    1. Add water and salt to the pot and bring to a boil.
    2. Add pasta to boiling water and bring back to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes. Remember to constantly stir to prevent sticking and overcooking.
    3. Drain, then mix with the olive oil. Ready to serve.

    Important Notes:

    Gluten-free pasta takes longer to cook and needs a lot more water than regular pasta.

    Silver Diner uses Andean Dream Quinoa Pasta. Follow the directions on the box if you use any other pasta.
