Recipe: Legal Sea Foods Crab Dip

    Legal Sea Foods' Crab Dip
    serves 4-6 people

    Ingredients:

    • 8 oz.whipped cream cheese with chives
    • 2 T heavy cream
    • 3 T minced Bermuda or sweet onion (optional)
    • 2 T bottled horseradish
    • 1/2-1 T Old Bay seasoning
    • 3 T sharp Cheddar cheese
    • 1 lb. fresh, lump crabmeat, undrained, picked over for shells and cartilage

    Preparation:

    In a large mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese and cream until smooth.

    Mix in the onion, horseradish, Old Bay, and Cheddar cheese.

    Stir in the crabmeat and its juices.

    Place in a medium ovenproof dish, such as a 9-inch pie plate, and bake at 375 degrees until bubbly, 10-12 minutes.

    Serve immediately with Japanese shrimp crackers (found at Asian markets).
