Live Nation confirmed Wednesday the cancellation of Lady Gaga's Feb. 25 show at Verizon Center.

Due to an injury that left her unable to walk, Lady Gaga canceled the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour.

Tests Wednesday morning determined she suffered a labral tear of the right hip, which will require surgery repair and time off to recover.

On Twitter, Lady Gaga explained that she suffered the injury during a performance some time ago and that it worsened over the past month, leaving her immobile for a concert in Montreal Monday.
