Thanksgiving From -- Not at -- the Blue Duck Tavern

In an effort to save the harried cooks and stressed bakers on Thanksgiving, the marvelous culinary team at Blue Duck Tavern has come up with a solution to the endless hours in the kitchen this November.

An all-American feast to feed 6-8 is available for $300 (excluding tax) -- a whole lot less than what it would cost to eat at this award-winning restaurant. The feast includes:

    • One 10-12 pound, free-range roasted turkey from Earth'N'Eats
    • Two freshly baked breads
    • Four traditional side dishes including Brussels sprouts with bacon & dried cranberries; potato puree with garlic confit; cornbread with oysters & chorizo stuffing; and wild mushrooms with olive oil crouton, parsley & roasted chestnuts
    • Apple pie & pumpkin pie straight from the Blue Duck Tavern Pastry Pantry

    Orders must be placed by Saturday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m., with pick-up available on Wednesday, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For orders, call Marvina Williams at (202) 419-6620 or email, and indicate your preferred date and time of pick-up.
