Tilda Swinton “Thrilled” by Conan O'Brien's Joke Offer

The former late-night host suggested the actress play him in a film

Conan O'Brien was looking toward the future during the last episode of the Tonight Show on Friday.

On Monday, January 18, Martin Scorsese offered to put Conan O'Brien in his new HBO series. The next day, Quentin Tarantino offered to help him make a revenge movie.

"When HBO makes a movie" about the late-night wars, O'Brien joked during his final monologue, “I want to be played by Academy Award-winning actress Tilda Swinton.” Swinton's likeness appeared on the screen next to him to demonstrate their similarities.

When Moveline's Kyle Buchanan interviewed Swinton at Sundance, where she's promoting her film I Am Love, he asked her about the offer. “I’ve heard about Conan!” Swinton said. “I’m so thrilled.”

Swinton also has biopic dreams of her own, according to MTV.

"What I really would love to do is get him to do some of the things I get to do. It would be nice if he were here at Sundance maybe, wearing this coat, talking about I Am Love. And why not? Every girl should have a doppelgänger," she said.
