Joel McHale to Host Two More Seasons of “The Soup”

Community's Joel McHale is going to be doing some extra credit work as the actor has agreed to host another two seasons of E!'s pop culture recap show, The Soup, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The Soup, which is a revamped version of Talk Soup, serves as a platform for McHale to engage in sarcastic takes on many outrageous TV moments. McHale, who has served as host for the previous seven years, counted down several of the show's funniest moments in the recently aired 300th episode, including skits on chicken tetrazzini and the infamous "Spaghetti Cat."

In addition to his NBC and E! duties, McHale will be featured in three movies next year: Spy Kids 4, What's Your Number and The Big Year.

The comedian will also host the Independent Spirit Awards on February 26.
