Looks Like “The Situation” Room on “Jersey Shore” May Be Unoccupied

No matter how lacking in self-awareness you may be, it appears that being famous for being a target of ridicule will eventually wear on you.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is reportedly the second "Jersey Shore" cast member to bail recently, according to Us Weekly.

"Mike walked off the show. He's so over the whole thing," a source told the celebrity magazine. "I don't think he's coming back. Everyone in the house is so unhappy."

TMZ caught up with Sorrentino as he walked in Seaside Heights, N.J., asking him if he was in fact leaving the show. The reality star responded with a shrug and upturned palms. When the TMZ cameraman wished him luck, he insisted, "I don't need luck."

"The Situation's apparent defection comes just a week after Vinny Guadagnino hightailed it out of the house, allegedly following an argument with an unidentified housemate.

Sorrentino and Gaudagnino had only recently reunited in Seaside Heights, with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio and Deena Cortese to begin filming the fifth season of "Jersey Shore."
