“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 7 to Premiere in May

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" returns with an extended 18 episodes

Kim Kardashian had the blogs in a frenzy last week with movie and dinner date pictures with her rumored new beau, rapper and fashion designer Kanye West.

On the heels of the Kim/Kanye romance, E! announced the summer premiere date of the hit reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” reported The Hollywood Reporter.

The show will return for a seventh season on Sunday, May 20  at a new time with an extended 18 episodes.  The return of the Kardashian Klan will mark Kim ‘s return to reality since the end of her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphies, chronicled on the spinoff show “Kim & Kourtney Take New York.”

On the new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," viewers can look forward to new beginnings and more family drama.

Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Scott Disick are preparing for their second child, a baby girl. Khloe Kardashian continues to experience the first few years of marriage with her husband, NBA baller Lamar Odom

While his older sisters look for a new location for their DASH store in Calabasas, Calif., Rob Kardashian will try to break away from his younger brother role and find his own path to stardom beyond “Dancing With the Stars.”

The youngest of the brood, Kylie and Kendell Jenner are teens with busy lives. In past seasons Kendall Jenner launched her modeling career, while Kylie struggled with boys and her dad Bruce Jenner.  The Hollywood Reporter said that on season seven the girls will break out of their older sister's shadows.

Mom-a-ger Kris Jenner will continue to manage her family empire while she works on her marriage to husband, Bruce who said that he feels “taken for granted,” according to the The Hollywood Reporter.

One big question is whether Kanye West will appear on the new season.

Mr. West, as he often calls himself, made a cameo on “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” in the past, but was just a “friend.” Now he and Kim seem to be closer than ever.

In a single, titled “Theraflu” West premiered last week, the Grammy award-winning rapper shocked airwaves with an ode to Kim K.

The new season premieres on E! 9 p.m., Sunday, May 20.
