Hassel-Offed: Reality Show Canceled After Two Episodes

Show had alcoholic actor guiding daughters' careers

At least David Hasselhoff's reality show lasted longer than his run on "Dancing with The Stars."

The "America's Got Talent" judge, in London for a production of "Peter Pan," just got word from A&E that has new reality show was canceled after only two episodes.

The show premiered with two half-hour shows Dec. 5. The first attracted 718,000 viewers but the audience dipped to 505,000 for its second half-hour episode. It was about Hasselhoff, whose alcohol problems are well-known, guiding the entertainment careers of his daughters Taylor Ann and Hayley.

"We face life head on," Hasselhoff told Popeater, speaking about the show. "Our family is about honesty. We are not trying to be famous. We are famous. The show shows how hard it is to stay on top and that's what I want to show world."
