One of Hollywood's most enduring celebrity marriages is coming to an end.

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are separating, it was confirmed by the couples rep Stan Rosenfeld Monday. The acting duo tied the knot in January of 1982 and have three children together - Lucy, 29, Grace, 27, and Jacob, 24.

Perlman, 64, and DeVito, 67, worked together on the sitcom "Taxi" (1978-1983) and most recently appeared onscreen together in the 1996 film "Matilda." Playing smart-mouthed waitress Carla Tortelli, Perlman was a regular in the sitcom "Cheers" in the 1980s and early 1990s, with DeVito currently starring as oddball Frank Reynolds in the FX comedy series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

Together they founded Jersey Films, a production company responsible for such films as "Pulp Fiction" and "Erin Brockovitch."
