Despite a previous pledge to depart "The Hills," Audrina Patridge will return for Season 6 of the MTV reality docu-soap.

MTV confirmed the news to Access Hollywood on Monday. It was unclear if Audrina's return will have an affect on the star's plans for her own reality show, which she announced over the summer was tentatively tiled, "The Audrina Show."

A rep for MTV also confirmed to Access on Tuesday that Kristin Cavallari would return to "The Hills" for Season 6, as well.

Kristin was brought on to "The Hills" Season 5, Part 2, after Lauren Conrad, her former "Laguna Beach" co-star and frenemy, announced she was leaving the show she helped make a hit.

But without Lauren, the show has sloped in the ratings.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, around one-third of the "The Hills" audience tuned out after the 23-year-old LC departed the MTV reality show.
