Black Eyed Peas Gearing Up for 2011 World Tour

The Black Eyed Peas have got a feeling that their next tour might be a good one.

Peas leader will.i.am told Billboard that the band's recent South American shows provided them with a template for how to structure a tour that will focus on filling up stadiums around the world, reports MTV.

"South America was a test," he told the trade publication. "We did all our homework...try to figure out how we can do stadiums in other countries, in America in Europe. If Black Eyed Peas Can do five 02 arenas, why don't we just do it in one shot? If we can do three Staples Centers, we should do one Dodgers Stadium. So that's how we'll probably tour this time around."

The flamboyantly dressed MC also said that the best way to experience the band's chart-topping hits and the tracks from their forthcoming album, The Beginning, would be in a huge venue.

"It's like you're there with all your friends," he said. "You're there in front of 50,000 people and they're there to watch you and your friends," he said. "Nothing gets any better than that. It's the best feeling, the best one yet."

will.i.am also said that the lead single from the new album, "The Time (Dirty Bit)," which includes the chorus from Dirty Dancing's "(I've Had) The Time of My Life," ties back to "I Gotta Feeling," the massive hit from their last album, The E.N.D.

"If 'I Gotta Feeling' was about someone who went out and said, 'I have a feeling tonight's gonna be a good night,' what would that person say when they came back from that party? They're probably going to tell you, 'Wow, I had the time of my life,' and that's what 'The Time' is," he said.

The Peas will get the chance to warm up for the tour as they'll be headlining the halftime entertainment of this year's Super Bowl, which is expected to be watched by over 100 million viewers.

The Beginning is set for release on November 30.
