Police say a Georgia man has been charged with attempting to stalk Miley Cyrus after he returned to the set where the teen star is filming a movie near Savannah weeks after police warned him to stay away.

Tybee Island Police Chief Jim Price said Wednesday that 53-year-old Mark McLeod  of Appling was arrested after Disney security officers on the island reported he was asking where he could find Cyrus last weekend.

Tybee police arrested McLeod in June on charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction. They say he had tried to breach a security perimeter around the movie set. McLeod told police after his arrest that he was secretly engaged to marry Cyrus.

Cyrus is filming "The Last Song" on Tybee Island and in nearby Savannah.

McLeod's in jail and police records don't list an attorney.
