Conception for “Inception” Star: Actress Marion Cotillard Is Pregnant

French actress Marion Cotillard is saying "bonjour" to her new baby bump. The Academy Award-winner and longtime beau actor/director Guillaume Caten are expecting their first child, her rep told US Weekly.

One of the most glamorous couples in French cinema, Cotillard, 35, and Caten, 37, met on the set of “Love Me If You Dare” in 2003. They’ve officially been an item since 2007.

The baby (no word on whether it’s a garçon or fille) is due this spring, according to a source for People.

Regardless of whether it’s a boy or girl, fans of the talented and beautiful couple are already speculating that good genes will make for a fresh-faced newborn.

“The most beautiful baby ever, probably,” one cinephile posted on Twitter.

“Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet are going to have the most adorable French kid ever,” wrote another.

In a 2009 interview with the Telegraph, Cotillard said she dreamed of raising a family in the French countryside.

“You can't work all your life,” she explained. “I was thinking, of course, about my life, which is a lucky, lucky, lucky life. I have the choice to take a big break and I have to do that. I want to have babies so I must take some time to have babies.”

Career-wise, Cotillard is on a roll, scoring great parts in Hollywood flicks and French-language films alike. Next up for the ingénue is Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris” where she stars opposite Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, and Michael Sheen.

2010’s “Inception,” in which she tantalized Leonardo DiCaprio’s character from beyond the grave, is getting major Oscar buzz, two months before the awards show.

The film is also up for Best Motion Picture – Drama at the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 16.
