No Joke: Comedian Kevin Hart Leads Run Organized on Twitter

More than 100 people showed up for the run

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart woke up his 19.6 million Twitter followers not with a joke but with a serious invitation for a run through Atlanta's Piedmont Park on Friday.

"Up & at it...we are about to get this spontaneous 5K run in this morning!!!!" he tweeted.

And he made sure fans knew he wanted only those who were ready to run.

He tweeted: "I'm serious about this" and "This is about health & challenging yourselves."

The run was part of his partnership with Rally Health.

More than 100 people showed up for the run and Hart told WAGA-TV he was impressed with the turnout.

Hart, who's been in movies including "Ride Along" and "Think Like A Man," is scheduled to perform Friday and Saturday nights in Atlanta.
